  • AE reference window?

    Hi,
I am colour correcting some clips in After Effects. I want the tone and colour of my clips to match, so I would like to have a fixed reference frame of clip A locked to one one side of my screen, and then next to it clip B which I will be tweaking the effects on.

I can add a new comp window, but I can’t ‘fix’ it so that when I scrub the timeline, clip B stays on my chosen frame so I can compare A and B.

I have tried taking a snapshot using my second comp window, and clicking the little man button that says ‘show last snapshot’, but as soon as a scrub my timeline it dissapears and both comps are identical.

Hope there’s some answers out there!
    John
