AE plugins in premiere CS5?
Hi all,
I wanted to know if its still possible to use some AE plugins in premiere CS5. If so, how do I do this. I can’t seem to find premiere’s plugin folder.
I would like to add AE’s “Iris wipe” plugin to premiere because of its feathered edge feature. I noticed AE’s feathered linear wipe and radial wipe plugs are already there under video effects “transitions”

Try sticking the plug-in into C:\program files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS5\MediaCore to share the plugin in both programs, or make a copy of the AE plug into Premiere’s plug-in folder.
No guarantees it’ll work, they share the same plugin architecture but faulty ones will probably crash premiere immediately upon the use of the effect.
