    1. I imported to after effects a Jib shot using the AJA kona v210 codec

    2. When i output my clip in AE and run it in Final cut pro the grain from the blacks pop up more.

    I am outputting using quicktime (no compression) at 16bit from After effects.
    Also, before i treated the footage the grain on the blacks isn’t so bad, its when i output in after effects then open it up on a mac FCP when i get a bad difference.

    also, are you seeing the difference on different computer monitors? pc and mac gamas are different unless they’ve been set otherwise, so that could account for the clips looking different. you’d want to compare the footage on a broadcast monitor, or at least take the clip back to the other machine to compare to original footage.
