AE output module, render setttings and Smedge 3
I dont’ know why all of the sudden this isn’t working but I have Smedge 3 and AE being utitlized here and the slave render only nodes would work fine but now they simply cannot fine the *.aom and *.ars files that are all the same and placed in the local AE installed folder under presets folder.
Yet these render only nodes aren’t looking at the presets folder for the output and render settings.
Furthermore I just disocvered that be default when AE is installed there is no default or generic *.aom *.ars file that resides there it’s just a part of the application until you save one out? This makes this very hard to troubleshoot.
Anyone know a soltuion to this.
Another thing that is annoying is that I can open up AE on these machines that are Render Only and the interface is mostly greyed out which makes sense but I cannot open the output module tab to tell those machiens to look at the file I need them to?
