    Hey All,

I’m using a really really wide still (tens of thousands of pixels) for a long long long pan.

AE is limiting it’s duration to 00:00:06:36. I’ve tried going into the comp settings, I’ve tried pulling the sides of the clip to expand it in the timeline. Nothing works thus far.

    Any thoughts.

    Thanks in advance.

    best,
    J

if the image does move, you can just put the same image in the comp again, and bump the ends together so it seems like the image doesn’t stop, but it really the layer under it just become visible. Or something along those lines.

It seems that there is a 30.000 limit to things in AE. You may have reached that limit.
I suggest reporting it as a bug to Adobe and see what they say.
In the mean time a quick solution would be pre composing your image layer, and duplicating&moving the image inside that pre comp to fit the length you need.

when you are importing the image, be sure it is not imported as jpeg, psd, png.. sequence.. just import it as footage.. that’s all..
