Queston. If I created a simple clip that concsists of avi. and jpges. Do I really need to use H.264. Cause I know that I would have to purchase another application. I have been reading others that have simliar issues as me and some were recommend to use Sorenson video 3 and apple compression. Also I read that you can use Quick Time Pro. Which one would you recommend for a beginner?
    I have window xp.
    Pc
    AE cs3
    Adobe Premiere 6.0

And If I don’t have to use H.264 since my clips are basic. Do I use the web video that is given in the main options tab under the strech box? (In AE)

Oh, also for AE cs3 what is the quantity of ram recommended to be in my computer so that AE can work properly? I also read about the “Black Hole”

No, you are not required to use .h264 for web video, although it is very common and often advantageous to use it.

How are you distributing your video?
YouTube and other video sharing sites will convert your video for you after you upload it.

I did a HD 1920by1080=quicktime, animation, high, 29.97, with a strecth of a 864 by 486. Render it in HQ.

I would like to upload it to a website, but not youtube or video share.
