    AE hangs on startup

    hello guys,

    after a lot of succesful sessions with my newly bought and loved after effects, it doesn’t get past the ‘initialising user interface’ part at startup. the processor usage jumps from 10 to 50%, and i have to quit the process with the task manager.
    does anyone know this problem, or the solution to it?

    i tried reinstalling, but it didn’t help.
    i run AE 7 pro on XP64bit pro.

    Hello Robert,

    I do not believe Adobe supports XP PRO 64 bit at this time only XP PRo and Home.
