Of course DVCProHD is a compressed HD format.

To get it to play well with D-5, read this:

Shane will no doubt fill in the blanks.

You can do this in one of two ways. Both require capture cards.

    1) Using the Kona 2 or Decklink Extreme HD you can output to D5 (panasonic HD deck) upconverting on the fly.

    2) Drop you footage into an uncompressed HD sequence and render. This way is better for color correction and titling and graphics, as DVCPRO HD is a highly compressed HD codec.

That is it in a nutshell. I am now gone for hte weekend.
