    Moooo,

I normally don’t use any sound within AE but I have a client that wants to animate a line to the revving of an Indy Car. I found the SFX I wanted, rendered them out as I always do (aiff, 96khz, stereo, 16bits) and I am getting this message. So, I tried rendering at 24 bits, changing the parameters in my preferences in AE and am constantly getting this message. I don’t have a problem importing or scrubbing the timeline; I get this message whenever I try o RAM preview or preview by hitting the . key.

I would pull the rest of my hair out but that would leave me with nothing. I desperately need help.

    Thanks,
    Seth

96 kHZ seems a rather high sample rate. Try more common ones such as 48 k or 44 k. You can always replace your sound later in production once you are back to editing.
