  • AE doesn’t warn when Multiprocessing is disabled

For some reason I don’t get the message in the preview pane saying that multiprocessing is disabled even though it clearly is. I’ve applied an effect that is incompatible with MP (lens blur) as stated in the Adobe manual, and the comp renders one frame at a time. When the effect is disabled it renders in 4 frame bursts (i’m on a quad core machine). Why isn’t AE telling me when MP is turned off-it does on both my other machines?

It should say so in the “info Palette”, not in the render queue or preview pane

I know, that’s where it’s not saying it. Very strange to say the least. I did just do a massive RAM upgrade, can’t remember if it was working fine before or not.
