AE Detail preserving upscaling in PS

Photoshop has detail-preserving upscaling. Whether it is the same exact algorithm as is used in AE, I wouldn’t know, but I see no good reason they’d be using a different one.

In fact, Adobe’s page on AE’s upscaling says “This effect is very closely related to the Preserve Details resampling option in the Image Size dialog box in Photoshop,” so I would dare to assume it is the same.

Thank you for the reply. I was having a tough time getting google to find the answer for me. The combination of those words were giving me all types of results.
