  AE CS5 Bug Scribble Effect

  Hey folks. Wondering if anyone can reproduce a bug I’ve been experiencing. I’ve been using the Scribble effect in AE CS5 v10.0.1.19 on an Intel Mac, OS 10.6.6.

  When I close AE, then open the project later, ANY layer that I used the Scribble effect on is simply GONE from the timeline. Vanished. If I immediately shut down AE and then re-open, the layers are still there, but at some point after shutdown and re-open, they are gone. Very, very strange, and a total pain.

  I’m the effect to fill text with scribbles, as outlined in an Aharon Rabinowitz tutorial here on The Cow. I really need this to work, and of course, I need to be able to come back to the project later and have the layers be there!
