AE CS5 – Audio Playing from Mac Monitor instead of headphones
For some reason when I work in AE my audio plays from the speakers on my monitor instead of my headphones. I have gone through all the settings on my computer and externally that I can think of but I can’t get it to play out of my headphones.
The only way I can adjust the audio is when I actually adjust it on the audio meter, then I can’t use the waveform to sync images because it’s so low.. Soo.. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

In your After Effects Preferences, check out the Audio Hardware and Audio Output Mapping section. If you have your computer set to send all audio to the headphones, changing these two to System Default should send all your audio to your ‘phones.
