    AE CS4 import problem

    hi there

    running AE CS4 and R11

    having some errors when importing my .aec, i get three dialogue boxes in a row, and then a folder with an empty AE comp with no camera/ nulls. I have the C4D project set up wtih external comp tags and a target camera.

    here are the error messages

    error message 1:
    unrecognized type

    2:
    After Effects: AEGP Plugin CINEMA4DAE: Unable to create cmposition
    (5027 :: 12)

    3: error loading the file in line 54

    Hi Jonas –

    I haven’t seen those errors before.

    I hate to be obvious, but have you downloaded the C4D/AE plugin fresh from the Maxon site, and/or deleted your prefs for After Effects?

    i just got the same set of error messages. did you manage to figure out what was causing it? any tips would be greatly appreciated.
