    AE CS4 and memory limitations using VISTA 64

    hi all,
    this is my first post to this forum.

    I am using CS4 aftereffects with Vista 64 bit and 8gb RAM.
    I can see only 4gb in AE.

    I thought that with 64 bit systems, there should be no memory limitations.

    Any help?

    Your processor and OS are 64bit, but After Effects is still only 32bit,
    This means that AE can use 4GB of ram in Vista64, but if you enable multiprocessing,
    the extra render instances will use the memory wich is left.
