    Mr. Aharon,
I didn’t say tat you think about yourself as a god of AE …
It’s more that I (we AE beginers) see a Master (god) of AE in all of You high level AE users. And I don’t see anything wrong with that.
I believe tht modesty is a good thing, but don’t go with it to far 😉

    Going back to thread,
I’m using PC and going to MAC would be great but I can not affort it now. I will try the trial version of nucleo2 with my system, the price of it is similar to WinXP64pro so it’s not such a big deal.

Many thanks for all your help and sorry again Mr.Aharon if I hurt your feelings.

    cheers

    Dear Aharon,

I understand how Nucleo 2 Pro works with multi-processing and assigning lots of ram per instance of AAFX.

Sadly i am bound to windows at work and i do know that the choices are 32bit and 64bit XP, nothing else.

Wouldnt 32bit windows with Nucleo perform the same as 64bit with nucleo or is the problem where windows can not see the physical RAM so it can not let Nucleo go crazy with it like it does on 64bit?

Unfortunately Nucleo Pro, while a Magic Pill of sorts, is (in my understanding) not enough of a magic pill I may not be right about this, but after a to get around the 32-Bit architecture. I don’t think you’ll get something out of more ram past 3GB, but if you did, it would be very diminished returns.

Regarding the whole “gods” comment, there was no insult taken. I just prefer to foster the attitude that we’re all just learning here, and no matter how much you know, there is always more to learn.

Thank you so much for the clarifications.

It seems the only way to work professionally with speed is windows x64 XP and lots of cpu/ram.

I suppose graphics card will not make so much of a difference so getting 2 GFORCE ultras would be overkill and probably useless.

I guess raptors raid0 quad core , 16gb ram and xp pro.

I just hope mobo/ram works well together…as if you go wrong there it all goes down the pipe.

Nucleo Pro 2 , 16 GB ram, OS x64 on windows RAPTOR raid0 array
    a strong quad core.

For those who seek the same answers as me.

Once again my gratitude for helping with your knowledge man.

    Yannis
