AE CS3 Crashes on Launch
This just started today. It was fine yesterday.
When I launch AE CS3 on my Vista 32-bit system, it crashes on the “Initializing User Interface” stage. The error is:
“After Effects error: bad parameters: options are not appropriate for this module. 39 :: 23”
When I log into Windows using another account, it launches fine.
So, there must be some corrupt user preference associated with my account that’s causing the crash.
Any ideas on where I can clear all the preferences?

Lots of good stuff there. Don’t erase your prefs either, back them up in case it isn’t the problem.
