AE crashes with paint effect
An older project I opened recently crashes when I open it. I was able to narrow down the culprit to the paint effect, which I use in 2 comps pretty extensively. As soon as I enable that effect AE crashes. The comp is pretty large at 6720 x 4481, but this project worked fine when I last used it last year.
I’ve tried importing this project into a fresh AE project, purging my cache, disabling GPU acceleration, viewing at 1/4 resolution… nothing helps. I have the latest version of AE, MacBook Pro, M1 Max, 64 GB Memory, Mac Ventura 13.2.1

In the meantime, can you install an older version of Ae and try with that?
