AE Crashes when importing quicktime movie. Emergency help needed.

Eric,

I’ve got the same crashing issue in AE CS3. You said:

“I HAD removed all the third party plugins from the library to no avail, but I didn’t think to check the “other” library under the users directory. ”

Can you be specific about these directories? Thanks in advance.

There are libraries in both the root directory of the system disk, and then in each ‘users’ folder. Check both for 3rd party plug-ins.
