what is the best codec to use in ae or even ppro for 720×480 looking for small file and good quality…i used tmpeg but just wondering what is better.

What is the ultimate exhibition medium? Tape? DVD?
Will it be edited in another program?
Do you need to output for different media (tape, dvd, web)?
