    Hi there!

Looking for some advice on how to remove a logo from a moving object. I’ve tried content aware fill and motion tracking a mask, but am having a tough time!

My goal is to hide the logo on the truck and replace it with another logo.

well…your box is too big and athe autofill is trying to replace the whole truck..make your mask as small as you can..and really the best bet would be to use a white solid and just track it over the whole side of the truck and then make it match…by using the preset tools you are actually making it harder on yourself

you might be overthinking it with the mask.
unless the camera moves at all directions you can probably keyframe your mask and replace it with comp to slip your logo in.

easy job for mocha planar tracking. you don’t want to erase the truck, you want to overlay a new object.

This sounds like it may work.

What do you mean replace it with comp to slip logo in?

[Ryan Decker] “What do you mean replace it with comp to slip logo in?”

If the camera doesn’t move much you can use a Composition as the replacement layer.
You can do this with keyframes or use motion tracking.
Best you look up a tutorial on that.
We use Compositions so that we can place any type of resource layer within the nested layer.
I cant go into details but sizing is also a factor.
