  AE CC 2017 Only Audio in Comp

  Hello,

  So I am trying to create a new comp and the footage I am importing is a MPEG/MP4 shot off of my android. I’ve uploaded the same type of files before in the past. Although for some reason this time any footage I upload will not show up in my comp. The audio is the only thing that will play, my comp stays only on the Alpha screen.
  I tried using a codec converter and the same results persist.

  Is there a setting active that I am not seeing? I’ve also seen where “wireframe” view has been active and pressing Shift+Alt+Ctrl+H will deactivate it, but no avail.
  On my last comp I did use Shatter, but I don’t see why that would carry over to a completely separate comp.
