AE and shockwave flash
hi everyone!
i’m designing a website and decided to use after effects to create an animated starter page. i was suppose to use flash for this, but am more familiar with AE now so i chose to use the latter program instead.
however, i need my animation to be in SWF output, because am using dreamweaver to publish the site. and i know i can only import SWF or FLV media formats in dreamweaver.
i just wanted to get an idea on what i should do in order to have a final, good quality, SWF video output.
for now, i tried doing this steps:
i rendered my composition as quicktime movie.
transfered it to flash.
exported it to SWF format.however, as expected, there is still loss in video quality, though i had set my options to “high” already.
if there’s another way to accomplish this, i’d love to know.
oh, and i’m a beginner to all of these programs. i’d appreciate simple, easy-to-do steps for now.

Keep as much as possible Vector and avoid filters and motion blur for smallest file size
