I’m building a new computer and don’t know which VGA card to use.

Do I need a ‘special’ card to use for OPenGL or AE preview or something? The shop is trying to sell
me a Leadtek NX62T which is a very basic card but supports OpenGL 1.5 will this be ok?

Where can I get a list of cards I can use so that AE7 works and previews effeciently?

My recommendation is to go with one of the Nvidia cards. They seem to give the best results with the fewest problems (right now). I notice that Leadtek card isn’t even on the list, so it’s probably best to avoid it.

    Thanks for that Timothy,

Will get a G-Force card then.

I need to know if AE needs to use any features of the card for faster preview. Do I need to get the GT card that most people buy for games or will a lower end one be ok?

Just wanting to know which will be best for previews. 🙂
