  AE 7: icons out of wack?

  hey all-

  i’m sitting here with a few other people, and we all brought up a little annoyance that each of us noticed in After Effects 7.

  In the project window, and in the timelines for that matter, once in a while the thumbnail icons will change into random application icons.

  I’m currently looking at all my .psd layers having an Itunes logo next to them. Weird.

  Anyway, restarting fixes the problem for a while, and trashing the preferences does too (Disk Utility and clearing the NVRAM was overkill, but we did that too anyway). But after a few days, the problem comes back.

  Is this just a bug in the new AE?

  We’re all running dual and quad G5’s here, with 10.4.7 on them.
