AE 7 and AE CS3 on same machine???
i just got cs3 for ae .. but i dont want to erase or over write ae 7 i still want to use it.
i have my harddrive partition’d into 3 different drives ..
i have ae 7.0 on drive /C can i put ae cs3 on drive /G and not have any problems?? and be able to run both (not at same time) without one interferring with the other??? -

i’m on a macpro, but i have both on the same drive and have no problems running either…

im on a windows xp . some programs over write previous installations and upgrade when a newer version is installed . thats what i was worrying about. and trying to avoid .

Not AE. You might have to choose a specific install folder, but usually AE creates its own such as “After Effects 7”. No worries. When I was on Windows, I had multiple versions on the drive all the time.
