  AE 6.5 CRASHES with audio files

  Hi, everyone! Fairly new to AE, and brand-new to this forum.

  I’m speed-learning AE 6.5 on a G4 Powerbook that has a 1.67 Ghz CPU and a full gig of RAM. It’s all worked great so far, and now I wish to edit a project to music. I import the audio and place it on the timeline, but as soon as I try to play it or RAM preview, the program crashes. Doesn’t matter if it’s .mp3, .wav, or .aif. They all make it crash. Anyone out there got a solution for me?

  BTW, this is a REEEEEEALLY fun program!
