Advice on creating better photorealism in example
Hello,
I am working on a composite photograph and am using some CGI models as an element.
The model is an Arri production light. Below is a link to the image. The image on the left is my render coming out of C4D (used some farily high GI settings and carefully lit the model to match the final photo) and the one on the right is where I am at in Photoshop with it. I’ve been compositing different textures over the metal and plastic to give it a more worn look. I’ve roughened the outermost edges of the plastic to simulate wear and tear.
I have a pretty deep depth of field in the final photograph so using a depth map wouldn’t make sense in this instance.
Any advice on how I can push it closer to photorealism?
