  Advice on breaking into the corporate AV design and installation field

  I currently work as a live sound and event AV freelancer, and am interested in trying to get into the field of AV design and installation (conference room and lecture hall design, video and web-conferencing, Crestron, AMX programming, etc).

  I was wondering where one gets the necessary training and credentials to get into this field. Is there a certain college degree that is preferred? I know some companies want CTS certification, but is that enough?
