ADVC 300
I hooked my ADVC 300 Canopus Box up to VCR to Digitize my VHS tapes. When I went into log and capture, I just had a blue screen and couldn’t log and capture. I then tried using QuickTime and still only had a blue screen, but I could hear the audio. What is my problem?

Ensure the digitizer is set to the DV codec, at the proper frame rate (I’m assuming 29.97) and that it is looking for the Canopus box as a capture device.
To make this easier, you may want to close all projects, then use an easy setup, THEN create a new project.

Here’s the thing. I can see it when I go to Log and Capture, I just can’t capture it. It won’t let me click on Capture Now. I put it on Non-Controlable Device, Firewire NTSC, Firewire basic, etc….
