    Hi
    Going thru the excellent tutorial on videocopilot but was confused as to why you might use the TimeWarp effect instead of simply enabling time remapping on a layer.
    Both do the same thing and you can enable pixel motion when you enable time remapping as well.

    Can anyone shed some light on this topic?

    timewarp has some extra settings to adjust the pixel motion interpolation process that can help produce better interpolated frames… also, some people find it easier to manipulate the speed property vs time remapping keyframes…
