    Hello,

I have the Avid Xpress DV 3.0 on a windows machine.
The effects that come with it are pretty basic, no 3D Warp effects.
At work, they got the Adrenalines, which has a pretty sweet effects palatte, including 3D Warps.
I’d like to know if it is possible to purchase the same effects that are on the Adrenaline effects palatte so that I can put them in my
    Xpress DV effects palatte.

Is there a low-end Adrenaline for the amateur or semi-pro editors who edit at home?

The answer for you would probably be Avid Xpress Pro or Media Composer software-only version. Neither of these is what you’d call “cheap”, but they have the solutions you are looking for.

Keep in mind these packages come with VERY specific hardware requirements too. There’s not a really an in-between step between Xpress DV and these packages. You have to be ready to pony up.

    still all thats available, imo.
    Unfortuaatly, it costs 45k.
To answer your question, no but you can get some great plugin effects. Scope out Genarts Sapphire and for that matter, surf the rest of the suprted AVX plugins listed on Avid’s site.
