I assume you mean Media Composer Adrenaline versus Media Composer Software Only. Shouldn’t be. Maybe there’s a restriction on the resolution you can capture (MC Software Only might not be able to do 1:1 without a Mojo or Adrenaline Box), but otherwise the process is the exact same. Heck, the process is the same from Xpress DV through Symphony, as far as I know. Only the available resolutions differ. I think DS is a different animal though–never had the opportunity to play on one.

I dont know if you are triying to make a batch list and then take the bin to the adrenaline.

We sometimes make the batch list offline on avid xpress dv 3.5 and save the bin onto the media composer adrenaline.

Even when the DV resolution its dv420 we are allowed to change it in the MCA, to 1:1 and then digitize.
