Ok so here are my specifications, if you guys need more or anything then please say so.

I’m running a Windows Vista Compaq Presario PC
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3800+
    Memory: 2 GB
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE

Well, anyways, here’s the issue I keep running into… When I go to export media the little media encoder opens and loads. Sometimes it freezes up and closes and other times it works. When it works though, when I hit “Start Queue” a little yellow /!\ sign thing pops up next to the video I’m exporting.

Someone told me this is just saying that it’s getting ready to render, however I’ve waiting for over an hour and still nothing. Then once I closed the media encoder Adobe crashed and won’t open anymore.

I’m pretty sure I can fix Adobe, however the media encoder is still a mystery. Any ideas? 🙁

Click on the sign and see what the error is.

Check that the encoder has been updated to 4.01.
Mine wouldn’t update until I reinstalled AME.

Check 3rd Party plugins that may be incompatable. It happened to me. I was able to edit but when I went to export, it froze. This was due to having Knoll lighting filters in the Adobe/Common/Plugin folder.
When I moved it to the AE plug folder, everything was okay.
