    Hello,
This is my first post on this site.
I am just getting into movie editing and I heard great things about Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 ~ but I also heard that Final Cut Pro is easier to learn and to work with. Please tell me what you think… before I go ahead and spend lots of $$ on a new and customized operating system.

    Thanks.

If you haven’t had experience with either, you will find the learning curve is close for both, Stick with the platform you are familar with you will be better off in the long run.

Thank you. I have always used a PC, never worked with MAC.

FCP is what I consider to be PPRO in the MAC world, with minor interface adjustments. This post at the Adobe forums might interest you.
