adobe premier lost project
can anyone tell me how to retirieve a project from premier 6. I managed to press do not save after fiddling with the project, and low and behlod the next time I opened it, it was all gone. lots of hard workdown the drain. does anyone know how or if i can retrieve this project?

Hi Matt,
The original unaltered file (the one you opened) should still be on your hard drive. Saving the project overwrites the original file with a new one, not saving just disregards changes and closes the program and does not alter the file on the drive. If your using XP do a search ( Start > Search) for the original file name. It should come up with 1 or 2 results. If this does not work let us know.
Any other forum members have any idea why the original file is not showing up when he starts the program? It’s been a while since I’ve used premiere 6.
