Adobe Photoshop Text problem
I’m working in Adobe Photoshop CS2 and I’m having issues typing text. When i go to type in the canvas, i get a little black square, and when i strike the keys, the only thing that appears is a black line which would be underneath the text if i could see it. the color of the text is different than the background and the text size is rather large. any suggestions?

I would check the layers first. I always catch myself trying to work on layers that are not in view or are buried. Next I would check the text tool properties, Maybe you have a weird font or background color setting or something like that.
