I am trying to make a DVD of a 40 minute wedding. It is XDcam EX, 1080 x 1920. But, when I tried to do dynamic link to Encore, that froze my comp up every time. So, I’ve been trying to export it as a movie, and then make the DVD after it has been exported. I’ve tried EVERYTHING! MPeg 2-DVD, that froze up after “exporting” about 6 minutes of the movie. I’ve tried H.264 but that also froze.
Please help and walk me through anything i would need to do to get this onto a DVD.
I need it done by August 15th.

    Hi Brent,

Maybe your system is having a hard time chewing your 1920×1080 HD resolution to a 40min clip. My suggestion is to export your timeline to an NTSC DV clip (40mins is roughly 10gb)before you convert it to DVD format–or before you import it to encore. DV clips are easier to manage than h264.

    Hope it helps…
