Hi guys, I know there’s been a lot of posts about adobe media encoder but I’m having some big problems with it. I’m exporting a 45 min mpeg2-dvd from premiere cs4 to media encoder and the estimated time is 63 hours. The same 45 mins videos used to export in 24 hours but now 63 hours!!? I’m looking at my processor usage and it’s only at 50% where as it used to tapped out at 100% while exporting in media encoder. I have no idea what has changed and am in dire need of some help.

I think you have updated AME to 4.2.0, right? After I updated AME to this version, I found the render time is longer than before.

    My solution is…
Uninstall AME and reinstall it, then updated to 4.1.0 (this update can be downloaded from Adobe site.)

Wow thank you so much! The new update is the problem for sure, going to do the uninstall right now. Thanks again!
