Adobe Illustrator Problems
Has anyone had the pleasure of having the Rectangle Tool simply disapper from your Toolbar?! There’s just a plain white space where that tool normally “lives” in the Toolbar. Would dumping the Preferences reset that? I also thought I’d simply re-install CS2 on my G4, but it won’t allow me to…it is grayed out. Do I need to un-install CS2 first? Thanks for your help on this!

Yeah I had this happen years ago on a couple of macs in OS 9, but not recentnly. Reset your Illustrator preferences.
Boot Illustrator and immediately afterwrds hold down Command Option Shift. Sya yes to resetting the prefs.
