  Adobe Cue Errors in Windows

  We have an XPro x64 workstation running Adobe Photoshop and AfterEffects CS3. Things have been hanging up a lot on this machine in general, but we decided to check the event logs and there are multiple issues regarding Adobe Cue:

  2/13/2009 7:21:46 PM Adobe Version Cue CS3 Error None 3 N/A GRAPHICS-4-SB “The description for Event ID ( 3 ) in Source ( Adobe Version Cue CS3 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: AssetServicesCS3, class vcfoundation::base::VCIllegalState: IVCPipeServer already closed
  Trace: (null).”

  Can anyone shed any light on this issue? We don’t actively use Adobe Cue, but is it something that we need to keep installed required by Photoshop or AfterEffects to function properly?
