    If you using the Adobe CS software on 10.5 and are planning to do a proper burn and install of Snowmog make sure you deactivate the CS software in 10.5 before you erase the drive. If you don’t you’ll be in a world of hurt when you try to activate the CS software again in the new OS. Basically it’ll mean a phone call to Adobe.

    As an aside to this…

    Everyone who is upgrading to FCS3 that has plugins that used activations should do the same thing. Plugins such as Tiffen Dfx Filters require you to deactivate to reinstall.

    Keep this in mind!

    Thanks for the reminder on the 55mm/DFT. I completely forgot about that. I wish they’d drop the activation, what a pita – as if it weren’t already bad enough doing a clean install of the OS, the 4 hour FCS intstall, the CS3 production suite install, and then all other utilities, apps, settings, licenses, etc.
