  • Adjusting the Temporal curve of the scale attribute in After Effects

I have used After Effects for years, and have run into this problem from time to time. It is really frustrating me right now, and I have never been able to solve it adequately. Whenever I try to grab a keyframe handle in the temporal curve for the scale attribute, it automatically separates into two separate scale x and y curves. It doesn’t seem to matter that I have the link x y scale box checked. The only way I have ever been able to perform an ease with x and y locked together is to use “Easy Ease”, which in this current case isn’t satisfactory. I have tried holding down option, command, shift, and control when grabbing the handle, but to no avail. I have searched forums, and found no mention of this problem. Is this a bug? How do I adjust the x and y scale curve together?
