    Hello, all

I would like your guidance in how I can align my edited project so that my first video & audio starts at timecode #01:00:00:00, with bars/tone, slate/countdown starting prior to that. I cannot find it in any of my FCP 5 user manuals.

    Thank you very much,

    — Bill

Go into Sequence Settings>Timeline Option and set the sequence start time to whatever you need in front of the hour to accommodate your bars and slate and whatever like 58:00:00.

    All the best,

    Tom
