Highlight the clip and type CONTROL ] to go up +3dB, Control [ go down -3dB, and CONTROL – and + to adjust 1dB at a time.

There is a “LEVELS” pull-down that allows you to set an exact number (or percentage of a number) of dB up or down (not just + or – 3 dB).
