Adjust timeline counter
How do you adjust the main timeline (time counter). I looked all over, but can’t find how to do so. When I open a new project FCPX seems to like to set the counter at 59:56;24 for example. It would make more sense to have it 1:00:00;00. What am I missing?

Click on the Project in the Library. Then open the Inspector, you should see the Project details. Now click on Modify and you’ll get the following sheet where you can change the starting timecode:
