  Adjust Audio Channles Individually

  Hi,
  Working in AE CS3. I shot my footage with different microphones on each channel. I want to adjust the channel levels individually, but the waveforms appear to be identical, and playing with the audio mixer sliders doesn’t work. Is there another technique? Am I possibly importing the footage incorrectly? (I know I recorded it correctly, because I can adjust mic levels in Final Cut.)
