additional output on HDe ?
howdy, just got our HDe system and i couldnt say better things about it. everything just works! i do have a question though, since i am working with analog HD in and monitoring analog HD out, is there any way i could use the ref-out connection as a composite out to hook up to a dvd/vhs recorder to make client approvals? right now im having to switch the Y-out of the AJA box with a composite cable everytime i want to make a client dub. is this possible?

sounds like a job for a small switcher/router.

yeah, ended up busting out the convergent design SD connect box to take care of that. funny though, its like im driving an 18-wheeler from my house to the playground which is 2 blocks away… but it works!
