  • Adding shadow to army created by Card wipe.

    Hello,

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to create a shadow that would fall properly for a simulated army I created using the Card Wipe transition. I have the soldiers properly set up as I need them but I think a shadow would help pass this off as pretty believable. I tried various things but can’t seem to get the shadow to lay flat on the ground.

    Thanks!

Did you try to place a duplicate of your soldiers into a sub-comp and then corner-pin it to the ground in the main comp?

No I didn’t but I will try that. Thanks!

Perhaps it would be easier to put the shadows together with the figures before using the card wipe filter.

oh, so you want to do it the simple way,

I never even thought of that, way to go!

Well, I don’t know if that’s what I would choose with that kind of project, but it surely would be one of my first approaches. Good luck!
