Adding points to a spline or joining masks.
Hi all, I’m a Combustion user and quite new to AE. I’ve drawn part of a mask (not closed) and I’ve deselected it. I seem to be unable to add more points to the spline or close it to make the mask complete. Seems odd, there must be a way.

Select the layer with the mask
“M” reveals the mask.
Select (highlight) the mask (Mask 1, under the layer).
If you don’t highlight the “Mask” when you next try to select an end of the mask you will be
changing the position of the layer, “Ctrl Z” to reverse this if the whole layer moves).Now draw a little marquee around one of the end vertex (nodes) to select it (or click once on it).
Change to the Pen Tool (“G”) and you can add to the mask, and even make it a closed mask.The change back to the Selection Toll hit “V” on the keyboard.
